About High Performance JDM Engines
Hi, my name is Nick Lancaster, and I am the writer/creator for High Performance JDM Engines. I have always been a bit of a car enthusiast, but I my interest really grew after seeing the movie fast and furious ( I know, I hate to admit it). After seeing the movie, I began to tune my own cars and began learning everything I could about them. In the beginning I tended to care a lot about the visual items, but eventually focused on performance. I am also a big fan of go-cart racing.
During college I had to study in Tokyo and my love for cars continued to grow. I have now been living in Japan for over three years ( I have even worked) and I started this site to discuss JDM Engines, JDM accessories, and the Japan auto market in general. I hope to offer insights to the Japanese auto market and why it has developed the way it has.
